[SOLVED] Cannot create new conversations in the Android app

Good news! We have managed to resolve the issue surrounding creating new conversations (private messages) in the Android app. You are able to create new conversations again.

An app update is not required, but you may have to completely close the app and restart it in order for the changes to take effect. Should this not have any effect, please remove and reinstall the app.


It's currently not possible to create new conversations (private messages) in the Android app. Participants can be selected, but the actual new conversation cannot be created. 

We are aware of the situation and are currently investigating. Additional reports are not required. 

New conversations may still be created using the desktop website via https://login.speakap.com. The iOS app is also not affected by this issue.

As soon as we have more information on a resolution date, this page will be updated.
